Job Description

The GrainBarn Agency is an new startup business in digital marketing that promotes new creation of organic digital contents to drive clients organic search results. Our agency dedicates ourselves to eventually bringing everyone a world of original organically created contents that are truested so that clients can serve contents that become more ENGAGING, MEMORABLE and SHAREABLE to their audiences.


The Account Executive is responsible for creating strong relationships with building new clients and venues to gain their participation into our agency services. Once a vendor agrees to participate, the AE is expected to manage and foster the relationship and continuously grow the number of referrals.


  1. Leverage lead lists provided as well as do own research to continuously build vendor database

  2. Actively communicate with team member counterparts and Business Development team to discuss leads and special cases

  3. Engage in heavy prospecting (via some cold calling) to communicate with and educate key decision-makers on the benefits of our company

  4. Build value added relationships with key individuals and organizations

  5. Excellent presentation and communications skills

  6. Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  7. High personal selling skills, ability to close sales

  8. Identify new opportunities and develop new business

  9. Local travel required in some cases, typically within a 50 mile radius


  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

  2. Multi-lingual (Spanish, Korean) preferred

  3. 2-5 years of B2B sales-related experience

  4. Demonstrated success in sales, business development and/or agency account development.

  5. Comfortable making numerous cold calls daily and gaining agreement over the phone and in person

  6. Advertising / Marketing industry experience, a plus

  7. Self-starter with strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented personality

  8. Great attention to detail, and thorough follow-through in a fast-paced environment
